Job Summary
Position patients and prepare for CT scans per standard operating procedures, administering cleansing preps and contrast agents under radiologist direction. Manage equipment maintenance logs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper radiation protection for patients and personnel. Schedule patients, track cases in RIS and PACS, and perform quality control on examinations while completing necessary documentation. Assist physicians during procedures, instruct student technologists, and attend required in-service training. Work night shifts at Main Hospital - New Brunswick earning $47.67-$56.74 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiography Education
- ARRT or CRT
- State of New Jersey License
Desired Qualifications
- Three years hospital experience as a staff technologist
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
