Job Summary
Prepare patients, administer contrast dye, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images under the supervision of a board-certified radiologist. Analyze patient conditions and age-specific needs to determine proper technique, ensure radiation safety, and maintain patient comfort throughout examinations. Mark images with time and body position, verify equipment functionality, and manage the Radiology Information System to complete cases efficiently. Properly stock and clean rooms before and after procedures while explaining steps to keep patients informed and reassured.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
- CT Certification
- NJ License required
- Previous CT experience required
- Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider through American Heart Association
