Job Summary
Prepare patients, administer contrast dye, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images under the supervision of a board-certified radiologist. Analyze patient conditions to determine proper technique, ensure radiation safety, and maintain room stock and cleanliness before and after each procedure. Mark images with time and body position, explain procedures to keep patients informed, and assist with transfers. Observe equipment for proper functioning and report malfunctions. Use the Radiology Information System to arrive, change settings if necessary, and complete cases while assessing age-specific needs. Work night shifts at Main Hospital - New Brunswick with an hourly pay range of $47.67 to $56.74.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
- CT Certification
- NJ License required
- Previous CT experience required
- Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider through American Heart Association
