Job Summary
Position patients for CT scans per standard operating procedures and administer contrast agents under radiologist direction. Ensure proper radiation protection and sterile techniques while managing IV venipuncture and equipment maintenance logs. Coordinate patient scheduling, restock supplies, and track cases in RIS and PACS systems. Complete documentation for interpretation and train student technologists. Attend required in-service training and maintain quality control of examinations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiography Education
- ARRT or CRT
- State of New Jersey License
Desired Qualifications
- Three years hospital experience as a staff technologist
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
