Job Summary
Prepare patients, administer contrast dye, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images under the supervision of a board-certified radiologist. Analyze patient conditions and age-specific needs to ensure proper technique, while correctly marking images with time and body position. Maintain room stock, explain procedures, and assist patients with transfers to the examination table. Observe equipment for proper functioning and report malfunctions immediately. Properly prepare and clean the room before and after each patient. Utilize the Radiology Information System to arrive, change settings if necessary, and complete cases. Ensure patient comfort and physical well-being throughout the examination. Night shift with hourly pay ranging from $47.67 to $56.74. Requires AMA-approved radiologic technology graduation, ARRT registration, CT certification, and NJ license.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
- CT Certification
- NJ License
- Previous CT experience
- Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider through American Heart Association
