Job Summary
Position patients and administer contrast agents for CT scans per standard operating procedures, ensuring proper radiation protection and sterile techniques. Manage patient scheduling, prepare for examinations, and assist physicians while maintaining equipment logs and performing quality control checks. Enter studies into RIS and PACS systems, complete documentation, and instruct student technologists. Work full-time night shifts (8:30 PM–7 AM) rotating across Morris Cancer Center, University Hospital, and Plum St. Imaging Center at RWJBarnabas Health.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiography Education
- ARRT or CRT
- State of New Jersey License
- Full-Time Nights, 830p-7a
- Responsibilities at University Hospital and Plum St. Imaging Center on the New Brunswick Campus
Desired Qualifications
- Three years hospital experience as a staff technologist
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
