Job Summary
Position patients for CT scans using standard operating procedures and administer cleansing preps and contrast agents under radiologist direction. Ensure proper radiation protection and sterile techniques while managing patient scheduling, flow, and documentation. Maintain equipment logs, troubleshoot issues, and perform quality control on examinations. Enter studies into RIS and HIS systems, split and fix studies in PACS, and instruct student technologists. Complete all necessary paperwork before submitting procedures for interpretation and attend required in-service training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiography Education
- ARRT or CRT
- State of New Jersey License
- Full-Time Nights, 830p-7a
- Responsibilities at University Hospital and Plum St. Imaging Center on the New Brunswick Campus
Desired Qualifications
- Three years hospital experience as a staff technologist
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
