Job Summary
Position patients for CT scans per standard operating procedures, preparing patients and administering cleansing preps and contrast agents under radiologist direction. Ensure proper radiation protection and sterile techniques while troubleshooting equipment and maintaining logs. Manage patient scheduling, flow, and documentation in RIS/HIS and PACS systems. Assist physicians during examinations and instruct student technologists. Complete all necessary paperwork for procedure submission.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiography Education
- ARRT or CRT
- State of New Jersey License
- Full-Time Nights, 830p-7a
- Responsibilities at University Hospital and Plum St. Imaging Center on the New Brunswick Campus
Desired Qualifications
- Three years hospital experience as a staff technologist
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
