Job Summary
Perform CT examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated CT equipment and adjusting imaging factors to produce optimal images for individual patient needs. Apply knowledge and judgment regarding imaging technique and patient treatment to meet special or age-related requirements. Maintain certification, license, or registration requirements, including BLS and Oregon Medical Imaging License upon hire, and pursue National Registered Technologist certification within one year. Work full-time on multiple shifts in a patient-focused, whole-person care environment at Providence Seaside Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography
- National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
