Job Summary
CT Technologist responsible for producing cross-section CT images for diagnosis, administering contrast materials, positioning patients, and operating CT equipment. Requires interpreting scanning instructions, ensuring patient understanding, maintaining the CT area, and documenting quality assurance. Weekend coverage is required with shifts 6:30 AM–7:00 PM or 6:30 PM–7:00 AM, with potential rotation to Bath, Green, and Stow locations based on departmental needs. Must meet ARRT CT certification within one year of hire, hold ARRT RT(R) in good standing, and BLS by AHA; education from an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required; familiarity with cross-sectional anatomy and related pathological processes is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologies [R.T.(R) (ARRT)] in good standing
- Certification in Computed Tomography [R.T.(R) (CT) (ARRT)] within one year of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes
- One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist (preferred)
