Job Summary
CT Technologist at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is responsible for producing cross-section images of internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The role includes accurately interpreting scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, preparing and operating CT equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring high-quality imaging. Duties also encompass educating patients about procedures, maintaining the CT area, handling technical and clerical documentation, and supporting QA processes to ensure diagnostic accuracy. The position works nights (4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.) and contributes to a Magnet-designated healthcare environment dedicated to exceptional patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists [R.T.(R) (ARRT)] in good standing
- Certification in Computed Tomography [R.T.(R) (CT) (ARRT)] within one year of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross
- Current state licensure
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes
