Job Summary

Conduct CT scans as directed, identifying patients and positioning them accurately for best visibility. Communicate with physicians and nursing regarding patient needs, including IV sedation or biopsies, and explain procedures to patients and families. Perform warm-up calibrations, operate PACS systems, and archive studies promptly for radiologist interpretation. Respond to codes and emergency situations appropriately while maintaining room cleanliness and stocking supplies. Complete necessary forms, contrast sheets, and clinical questionnaires for all procedures. Train co-workers and students, assist in assigned CT rooms, and perform point-of-care testing.

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT Registered and registered in CT
  • CPR
  • SCRQSA certification (Required for team members working in South Carolina)
  • Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program
