Job Summary

Perform CT scans as directed, positioning patients accurately for best visibility and utilizing proper injection techniques with IV contrast. Communicate with physicians and nursing regarding patient needs, including sedation or biopsies, while obtaining histories and filling out required questionnaires. Acquire requisitions, charge procedures and supplies, and operate the PACS system to verify studies before archiving. Respond to codes and emergency situations appropriately, maintain equipment through warm-up calibrations, and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked. Work night shifts at Blount Memorial Hospital, reporting equipment issues and documenting confirmation numbers for all procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT Registered and registered in CT
  • CPR
  • SCRQSA certification (Required for team members working in South Carolina)
  • Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program
