Job Summary
Conduct computerized tomographic radiograph imaging by performing necessary clinical and technical safety checks, validating exam reasons with patients, and executing red rules to ensure the right patient, exam, and order. Educate patients before scanning procedures, explain the process, and answer questions while addressing safety concerns and conflicting exam reviews. Utilize critical thinking and evidence-based guidelines to manage imaging, escalate clinical issues to appropriate leaders, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient exam flow and prevent delays.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree
- NM Computed Tomography License (NMCT)
- NM Computed Tomography Provisional License (NMPCT)
- ARRT
- BLS
