Job Summary
Assist in the operation of the CT lab to ensure high-quality studies, excellent patient and physician satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Provide direct patient care to facilitate continuity of services and support the CT Laboratory Manager/Lead CT Technologist and physicians. Ensure all CT lab services meet high-quality standards by performing periodic correlation of CT findings to other modalities. Report CT lab testing results accurately and promptly while maintaining daily, weekly, monthly, and annual quality control functions. This PRN role supports the CT Laboratory Manager/Lead CT Technologist in a patient-friendly environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a clinical or scientific field
- Clinical registration as an RT(R)(CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with cardiac CT experience
- An active Florida radiologic license
- Experience as a staff CT Technologist
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Good working knowledge of cardiac care
- Good working knowledge of general office procedures
