Job Summary
Perform routine CT imaging examinations on scheduled and emergency bases, reviewing requisitions to determine procedure appropriateness and identifying patients with two identifiers. Execute basic imaging analysis, select technical factors to visualize anatomy, and explain radiation practices (ALARA) to patients and parents while assessing their ability to respond. Maintain equipment functionality, organize daily section operations, and complete all documentation accurately per hospital policy and HIPAA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree, Allied Health
- 1 year of experience working as a Radiologic Technologist
- RT/CT registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)
- Must meet, successfully complete, and maintain the ARRT certification
- BLS certification
