Job Summary
CT Technologist role in Milwaukee, WI for the Imaging Dept. Prepare and position patients, administer contrast media within scope of practice, observe patients during procedures, monitor protocols, and follow radiation safety guidelines. Requires BLS within 1 month of hire, Wisconsin Radiography Board credential, and one or more CT-related credentials (NMTCB, ARRT CT, or related Radiologic Technologist CT specialization). Education options include high school equivalency with experience, associate/technical degree, or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following required: NMTCB credential (NMTCB CT or NMTCB CNMT) or ARRT CT/ Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT or Radiography; ARRT Radiologic Technologist with CT specialization or Nuclear Medicine Radiology specialization accepted; NMTCB CNMT or equivalent; ARRT CT designation.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
