Job Summary
Execute high-precision CT imaging procedures by following radiologist protocols to ensure accurate diagnosis of patient injuries and diseases. Prepare and guide patients through scans by setting anatomical parameters and administering contrast media while monitoring their well-being and responding proactively to status changes. Collaborate on clinical excellence by recommending protocol updates and refinements, and uphold rigorous radiation safety standards to protect patients and the healthcare team. This role requires BLS certification and ARRT credentialed radiography or CT technology, with a full-time day shift schedule at Ascension Saint Thomas West.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- Associate's degree/Technical degree
- 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
