CT Technologist

Job Summary
Ensure patient safety by pre-screening for contraindications and using aseptic injection techniques while producing high-quality diagnostic CT images. Effectively communicate with radiologists and customers, troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment, and train new technologists or patient coordinators. Perform mid-day moves and manage patient transfers as required. This full-time role at our Plantation, FL facility requires ARRT certification, a state license, and CPR training. Candidates must possess strong organizational skills and a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Registered Computed Tomography Technologists by the ARRT
- Certification by the NMTCB in Computed Tomography acceptable in lieu of ARRT registry
- State license
- Licensed in Medical Imaging, if applicable
- CPR certification
- Active State Driver's License
- Strong customer service skills
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
- The COVID-19 vaccination
- Successfully complete a pre-employment background check
- Successfully complete a drug screen
- Ability to move non-ambulatory patients from a sitting or lying position for transfer or to exam
- Ability to carry and lift
- Ability to see, speak and hear to be able to communicate with patients
- Ability to stoop, kneel or crawl
- Ability to climb and balance
- Ability to sit, stand, walk
- Ability to perform repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs
