Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation while adhering to radiation safety principles. Position patients, manipulate technical factors, and assess images for quality and proper annotation. Administer contrast medication, perform venipuncture, and manage adverse reactions or emergencies. Assist in supervision of student technologists and maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas. Provide patient transport and ensure compliance with all state, federal, and Baptist Health policies. Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA and FMLA standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Current AHA BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
- Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification (R)
- Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (CT)
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) in (CT) within twelve (12) months of hire
