Job Summary
Conduct high-quality CT imaging, vascular studies, and assist with sterile procedures while following radiologist protocols and ALARA principles. Provide compassionate patient interaction, administer contrast per policy, and respond decisively in emergencies. Manage patient flow, maintain exam room standards, and troubleshoot equipment needs to ensure quality control. Prioritize workload independently and adhere to facility policies and professional standards. Maintain required ARRT certification and BLS certification with biannual renewal. Work Monday through Friday on PM/afternoon shifts (2–10 pm) with a fourth-weekend rotation. Join a team delivering care in northern Michigan's largest healthcare system.
Required Qualifications
- Passed the examination for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy and remain in good standing with ARRT CE requirements or provide Certification from an International Credentialing agency
- One (1) year prior CT experience
- Meet/demonstrate MHC CT competencies
- Pass the certification for CT within two years of hire date
- BLS certification with biannual renewal
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, PM/Afternoon Shift, 2-10pm, Every 4th weekend rotation
- Be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella
- Receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption
