Job Summary
Perform advanced computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment, ensuring high-quality cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation. Operate and adjust CT equipment, administer contrast media, and monitor patients for adverse reactions while adhering to radiation protection standards. Prepare patients for exams, verify orders, and assist in interventional CT procedures such as biopsies and drain placements. Respond to emergency situations, perform quality control checks on equipment, and maintain accurate documentation in the radiology information system. Mentor CT staff, update protocols, and ensure a clean, stocked work environment. This role begins in our new Free-Standing Emergency Department in Summer 2026.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of clinical experience acquired through an accredited radiologic sciences program
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state
- CT - Computed Tomography certification issued by ARRT
- BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care hospital setting
- (R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer
