Job Summary
Conduct CT exams, vascular studies, and assist with sterile procedures while following radiologist protocols and ALARA principles. Provide compassionate patient interaction, administer contrast per policy, and ensure accurate documentation and image transfer via RadNet/PACS. Manage patient flow, maintain exam room cleanliness, and troubleshoot equipment needs to uphold quality control standards. Apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and scanner functions to deliver diagnostic imaging services consistent with facility policies and professional standards. Schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (30-40 hours per week/every other weekend) from 9p-7a. This role supports Munson Healthcare's mission as northern Michigan's largest system serving over half a million residents.
Required Qualifications
- Must have passed the examination for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy and remain in good standing with ARRT CE requirements or provide Certification from an International Credentialing agency
- One (1) year prior CT experience
- Must meet/demonstrate MHC CT competencies
- All non-registered new employees must pass the certification for CT within two years of hire date
- BLS certification with biannual renewal
- Must be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella
- Must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption
