Job Summary
Conduct computed tomography and standard musculoskeletal x-rays, including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine imaging, while ensuring safe handling of equipment. Capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissue, demonstrating competency in CIS, RIS, and PACS systems. Maintain department operations by performing additional radiology tasks as needed. Must hold current CPR and Venipuncture licenses, AART certification, and Fluoroscopy and CRT permits. Requires minimum one year of clinical CT/X-Ray experience and strong communication skills for patient care and team interaction.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma
- completion a training program at an accredited school
- current CPR and Venipuncture license
- AART Certified with specific certification
- competency in the use of all applicable aspects of the CIS, RIS, and PACS
- Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Minimum of one year of clinical CT/X-Ray experience
- Fluoroscopy Permit
- CRT Permit from the State
- Good understanding of providing superior patient care; comfort, safety and confidentiality
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with doctors, patients, peers and management
