Job Summary
Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes. Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology, providing high-quality images to radiologists for interpretation. Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies while performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment. Document patient information and imaging parameters accurately in the hospital's system, collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services. Maintain English language proficiency and physical abilities to move equipment and assist with procedures. This 13-week travel assignment requires a valid Radiology license and one year of recent experience.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
