Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue, setting appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology. Prepare and position patients for procedures while adhering to radiation safety standards and hospital policies. Maintain equipment through routine maintenance and troubleshooting, and document patient information and imaging parameters accurately. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation. Maintain visual acuity and the ability to work under pressure while managing diverse CT protocols across facilities. This 13-week travel assignment in Indianapolis requires one year of recent CT experience and a valid Radiology license.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
