Job Summary
Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes, setting appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology. Prepare patients for procedures, position them for safety and image accuracy, and provide high-quality images to radiologists for interpretation. Maintain equipment, perform routine troubleshooting, document patient information and imaging parameters accurately, and adhere to radiation safety standards to minimize exposure. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services while adapting to different CT protocols across various facilities. This 13-week travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio, requires one year of recent CT experience and a valid state radiology license.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
