Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes, setting appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology. Prepare and position patients for procedures while adhering to radiation safety standards and hospital policies. Maintain equipment, document patient information and imaging parameters, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver timely diagnostic services. Requires one year of recent CT Technologist experience, a valid Radiology license, and the ability to adapt to different CT equipment across various healthcare facilities. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
