Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue by setting appropriate technical parameters and positioning patients for safety and accuracy. Provide high-quality images to radiologists for interpretation while maintaining equipment, documenting patient information, and adhering to radiation safety standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services across various facilities, requiring the ability to adapt to different CT protocols and work under pressure. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
