Job Summary
Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes, setting appropriate technical parameters and providing high-quality images to radiologists for interpretation. Prepare patients for procedures, position them for safety and image accuracy, and ensure proper imaging protocols are followed while maintaining equipment and documenting patient information accurately. Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to minimize exposure, collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services, and adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various facilities. This 13-week travel assignment in Normal, Illinois requires one year of recent CT Technologist experience and a valid Radiology license.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Ability to adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push, pull, and bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must be able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
