Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue, setting appropriate technical parameters for accurate anatomy demonstration. Prepare and position patients for safety and image accuracy while adhering to radiation safety standards and hospital policies. Maintain equipment through routine maintenance and troubleshooting, and document patient information and procedural details accurately in the hospital system. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services and ensure proper imaging protocols are followed. Requires one year of recent CT experience, a valid Radiology license, and the ability to adapt to different equipment across various healthcare facilities.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be available for travel assignment in Grand Island, Nebraska
- Must be able to adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
