Job Summary
Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes, setting appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology. Prepare patients for procedures, position them for safety and image accuracy, and collaborate with radiologists to obtain high-quality images for interpretation. Maintain CT equipment, troubleshoot functionality issues, and document patient information and imaging parameters accurately in the hospital system. Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety while following proper imaging protocols. This 13-week travel assignment in New Bern, North Carolina requires one year of recent CT Technologist experience and a valid Radiology license.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Ability to adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must be able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
