Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue by setting appropriate technical parameters and positioning patients for safety and accuracy. Provide high-quality images to radiologists while adhering to radiation safety standards and performing routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Document patient information and imaging details accurately, collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services, and maintain compassionate care throughout the imaging process. This 13-week travel assignment in Clarksdale, Mississippi requires one year of recent CT experience, a valid Radiology license, and the ability to adapt to various facilities.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
- Must be available for a 13-week travel assignment in Clarksdale, Mississippi
- Must be able to lift 50-100lbs
