Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue by setting appropriate technical parameters for anatomy and pathology. Prepare patients for procedures, position them for safety and image accuracy, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver timely diagnostic services. Maintain equipment through routine maintenance and troubleshooting, document patient information and imaging parameters accurately, and adhere to radiation safety standards to minimize exposure. Perform duties in a travel assignment at a facility in Maysville, Kentucky, requiring one year of recent CT Technologist experience and a valid state radiology license.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be available for travel assignment in Maysville, Kentucky
- Must be able to adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
