Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes, setting appropriate technical parameters and providing high-quality images to radiologists. Prepare and position patients for procedures while adhering to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment, document patient information and imaging parameters accurately, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services. Maintain visual acuity and the ability to communicate effectively in English. This 13-week travel assignment in Trinity, Florida requires one year of recent CT Technologist experience and a valid Radiology license.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
