Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes, setting appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology. Prepare patients for procedures, position them for safety and image accuracy, and adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment, document patient information and imaging parameters accurately, and collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services. Maintain equipment functionality while following safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure. Requires one year of recent experience, a valid Radiology license, and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
