Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes, setting appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology. Prepare patients for procedures, position them for safety and image accuracy, and maintain equipment while adhering to radiation safety standards. Document patient information and imaging details accurately, collaborate with radiologists for high-quality interpretations, and adapt to different protocols across various healthcare facilities. Requires one year of recent CT experience, a valid Radiology license, and the ability to work under pressure. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
