Job Summary
Conduct computed tomography examinations for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients using ionizing radiation to assist with diagnosis and treatment. Provide patient care under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist while adhering to all prescribed standards. Maintain registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and hold an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program degree. Weekend option available Friday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Piedmont Newton Hospital. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program
- A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiological Technologist
- If less than one year as a Radiologic Technologist must have advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R)
- If less than one year as a Radiologic Technologist, Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (CT)
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred
- BLS certified
- Six (6) months experience as a CT Technologist preferred
