Job Summary
CT Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. They perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct guidance of a Radiologist and provide care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Minimum education is AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program; requires ARRT CT certification if less than one year of experience; licensure as R or CT-registered; CT certification preferred; BLS required; at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. Schedule includes 7a-7p Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun? (as listed: WEO 7a-7p Fri/Sat/Sun) with sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- If less than one year as Radiologic Technologist must have advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R)
- If less than one year as a Radiologic Technologist, Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (CT)
- Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred
- BLS certified
- Six (6) months experience as a CT Technologist preferred
