Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to obtain diagnostic images and assist radiologists during radiology procedures; perform CT scans per physician orders and protocols; ensure patient safety and comfort, administer contrast when necessary, and monitor for reactions; maintain and operate CT equipment, and keep accurate imaging records; collaborate with physicians and maintain infection-control and privacy standards; provide patient instructions and support throughout the scanning process; weekend part-time shift (Fridays and Saturdays, 6pm-7am) at Vista Medical Center in Waukegan, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Registered CT Technologist (ARRT) certification or equivalent required
- State licensure as a radiologic technologist (if applicable)
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
