Job Summary
Conduct Computed Tomography (CT) examinations for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients using ionizing radiation to assist doctors in diagnosis and treatment. Perform advanced CT imaging for cardiac and vascular cases while adhering to all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. Provide patient care across all age groups and demonstrate proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. This role requires a graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program with one year of CT experience and ARRT registration. Schedule includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm at Piedmont Cartersville.
Required Qualifications
- Previous CT experience
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program
- 1 year of CT experience
- ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) (CT)
- CT - Computed Tomography Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT)
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
