Job Summary
Conduct computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, reviewing patient history and physician orders while educating patients on procedures and equipment. Prepare and administer contrast media or medications when ordered, monitor patient conditions, and report status changes. Select appropriate exposure factors, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and perform quality control procedures. Analyze imaging results, resolve image quality issues, and enter or transmit scan reports. This onsite role requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Full-time, 72-hour pay period with night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
- Registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State licensure if required by law
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
