Job Summary

Operate CT equipment and processing systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established protocols. Prepare and position patients appropriately for CT procedures, verify physician orders, and screen for contraindications. Administer contrast media as ordered, monitor for adverse reactions, and perform point-of-care creatinine testing when required. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver accurate, timely, and patient-centered care. Maintain and perform regular quality control checks on CT equipment, respond to emergency situations, and ensure a clean, organized work area. PRN schedule, as needed; variable hours.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of clinical experience acquired through an accredited radiologic sciences program
  • 2-4 years of experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care hospital setting preferred
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state
  • CT - Computed Tomography certification or eligibility to obtain within six (6) months of hire
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire
  • (R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer

Desired Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care hospital setting preferred
