Job Summary
Conduct high-quality CT exams by positioning patients, administering prescribed medications, and imaging according to approved protocols. Review images for PACS interpretation, close exams in EPIC/PACS, and ensure patient information accuracy. Maintain a safe environment by screening patients, performing clinical pauses, and transporting individuals as needed. Keep rooms clean, restock supplies, and manage inventory while completing daily checklists for regulatory readiness. Maintain licensure through required continuing education and attend department meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a formal radiology technology training program in an AMA approved school
- ARRT Registered as a Radiologic Technologist
- NYS Registered as a Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT CT
- BLS Certification
- Heavy Work - Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects
- Occasional balancing, climbing, crouching, kneeling, stooping, fit testing
- Frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, talking, visual acuity (color, depth, perception), walking
- Constant typing/ clerical/ dexterity, grasping, hearing, repetitive motion, seeing/ monitor/ computer use
- Frequent bodily fluids/bloodborne exposure
- radiation/radiant energy
- Occasional Travel
