Job Summary
Prepare patients for examination by positioning them and executing specialty radiologic examinations while reviewing medical records to verify orders. Inspect films for quality and proper identification before interpretation, then complete daily exam data entry and necessary paperwork. Operate Siemens & GE CT units proficiently, including 3D post-processing for Circle Of Willis, Aorta, and Carotids, and perform Peripheral IV catheter placement. Maintain room supplies, report equipment malfunctions immediately, and implement Standard Precautions on all patients. Assist radiologists during procedures and cross-train in other specialty areas as workload demands.
Required Qualifications
- Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (CT)
- Must hold a current Florida General Radiographer license from the Department of HRS, Radiation Control
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Must be a Graduate of an AMA Accredited Educational Radiologic Technology Program for Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Must have Two years of clinical experience
- Must be able to perform CT Angio
- Must be able to perform Cystograms
- Must be able to perform Virtual Colonography
- Must be able to perform TAVR
- Must be able to perform Enterography
- Must be able to perform Rectal Contrast exams
