Job Summary
Prepare patients for examination by positioning them and executing specialty radiologic examinations, including CT Angio, Cystograms, and Virtual Colonography. Review medical records to verify orders, inspect films for quality, and ensure proper patient identification before interpretation. Assist radiologists during procedures, cross-train in other specialties, and operate Siemens & GE CT units while performing phantom quality control. Maintain room supplies, document exam data daily in EPIC and SYNAPSE systems, and report equipment malfunctions immediately. Work a 7 pm to 7 am shift (3 12's) in full-time, part-time, or per diem roles.
Required Qualifications
- Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (CT)
- Must hold a current Florida General Radiographer license from the Department of HRS, Radiation Control
- Must have BLS/CPR certification
- Must be a Graduate of an AMA Accredited Educational Radiologic Technology Program for Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Must have Two years of clinical experience
- Must be able to perform CT Angio
- Must be able to perform Cystograms
- Must be able to perform Virtual Colonography
- Must be able to perform TAVR
- Must be able to perform Enterography
- Must be able to perform Rectal Contrast exams
