Job Summary
Perform radiographic procedures using ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and assist physicians in administering radiopaque media. Produce high-quality images meeting Centra Health Radiology standards while practicing proper safety guidelines for patients and support personnel. Care for patients, foster teamwork through effective communication, and maintain flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths. Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Competence in a variety of imaging equipment and technology
- Knowledge of proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients
- Ability to foster teamwork through effective communication
- Ability to ensure high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines
- Flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths
