Job Summary
Operate CT scanning equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while preparing patients for procedures and administering contrast media as required. Monitor patients during scans, maintain strict radiation safety standards, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure diagnostic image quality. Perform routine quality control checks on equipment and maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system. This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $55 - $60 per hour for full-time or part-time positions in a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Valid certification as a CT Technologist (e.g., ARRT(R)(CT))
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in diagnostic radiology or nuclear medicine
- Knowledge of urgent care protocols
