Job Summary
The CT Technologist operates CT scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images per physician orders, ensuring patient safety and proper equipment function. Responsibilities include positioning patients for accurate imaging, administering contrast when needed, assisting radiologists in image analysis, maintaining accurate imaging records, and upholding infection control and safety standards. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent patient care, with collaboration across radiology staff to deliver quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Registered CT Technologist (ARRT) certification or equivalent
- State licensure as a radiologic technologist (if applicable)
- At least 1-2 years of CT scanning experience
- Ability to operate and maintain CT equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent patient care skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently
