Job Summary
Deliver diagnostic CT imaging for inpatients, outpatients, and ECC, using CT procedures and maintaining image quality. Works three 12-hour night shifts (Wednesday-Thursday then Wednesday-Thursday-Friday) with every other Friday off. Performs cardiac and vascular CT scans, QC/QI functions, and assists radiologists and other staff. Ensures safety and patient care, communicates with patients, adheres to ALARA principles, and participates in departmental duties including contrast use, QA documentation, equipment troubleshooting, and inventory responsibilities. Requires active licensure/certification in radiography with ARRT, Kansas LRT, and CPR/BLS; this role supports a dynamic imaging team in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiology program
- CPR/ AED/ BLS - Other BLS within 14 days
- Radiography (R) - ARRT
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) - Kansas Board of Healing Arts within 90 Days
- Preferred CT Licensure/Certification - Computed Tomography (ARRT)
